Ir.A.X Animation
This is an animation I created solo in my second year for my animation module.

This was created to serve as a boss introductory cut scene to allow the player to see Ir.A.X the iron arachnid before getting to fight it.
​
The animation was created in 3Ds Max. The models where constructed in 3Ds Max and then exported to Substance Painter to be textured. The Spider Bot itself was rigged using parent bone systems that created a custom rig for movement and was animated using dummy points at the end of each of its feet.

Effects were then added in Adobe Aftereffects such as distance blur and filters on the freeze-frame and the cloaking effect of the robot.
​
The video was composited using Adobe Premiere Pro and sound was added at this stage.
